Have you ever watched a home improvement show where you have been completely captivated and inspired by the design, construction, or even how much money was made when comparing purchase cost and after repair amount? Deep inside something lights up and you connect with what you are watching or feel motivated to make passive income after crunching the numbers of all your possibilities. That is how I felt years ago while I was just a child growing up in Brooklyn, NY. I was so fascinated by the real estate world and the world of design. I remember I used to look through furniture and fashion catalogs and cut out unique furniture pieces, fabrics, or fashions. I kept these clippings in an envelope that I would keep with me most of the time. I would always envision some of these pieces in a home that I would own one day. I would map out the mood that I want in my bedroom, some colors and styles that I must have and furniture that I thought I had to have. I did not realize it then but that was my vision board for the life and lifestyle that I wanted to have.
Fast-forward some years, I spent most of career as a Human Resources Manager, but those real estate dreams never died. About 2 years ago, I woke up from a state of real estate stagnation and actively began the process to becoming an Investor. Now, in 2021, even in a challenging market, I am able to enjoy the process of buying and working on projects in my home, finding great deals and of course using my inspired sense of design. I’m truly grateful to also have the opportunity to help others in accomplishing their own goals of owning, selling, investing, and renting real estate.
